2 video source, 2 USB source...

Strengths: Large screen, good overall picture, 2.5 years without a hitch.... so far. Up date, 3 years and the hitch came... funny right when the warranty expires!

Weakness: Heavy, Morie, Menu/button control is not intuative, Foucs varies through out the screen!!

2 video source, 2 USB source switchable in softmenus, but NOT linked together means losts of button pushing if you switch. 4 powered USB ports are nice. Biggest gripe: Large screen allows focus to vary from left to right, top to bottom, focus control allows adjust for one area, but the large deviation leaves another area out fof focus. Overall Picture is quite good. Edges and geometry suffer little, and extensive controls are available.

That was then, now 3 years or so in, just when the warranty has expired:
a bit too often the screen gets bright and fuzzy...
the strangest thing. I thought it was my old video card so i bought a new one. Needless to say it wasnt.
Believe it or not i, when this happens I have to smack the side of the monitor to get it to go away.
Im an electronics engineer and have a good idea how bad that is to do to any device.

Anyway its not soooo bad.

Anyone that wants a professional...

Strengths: Huge monitor, great picture at low or high resolution and for the the price you can't beat a 22" monitor for less than $600.

Weakness: Wish it was not so heavy, and more documentation would help

Anyone that wants a professional 22" monitor should look no further than this one, great features, large screen, games look beautiful, and price is great.

Weakness: Voluminous, heavy, USB hub turns off when monitor is off

I got this monitor about 3 weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. It's absolutely huge, and a steal at less than $700. The multiple inputs, though I'm not using them right now, may come in handy in the future. The image quality is superb - perfect for watching movies or working (and playing) in high resolutions without everything becoming tiny. The menu controls are intuitive and complete. It is big though, so make sure you have plenty of space. My one gripe has to do with the USB hub. I leave my computer on most of the time, and turn the monitor off when not using it. I have a USB mouse that I wanted to plug into the hub to give myself some more length on the cord to play with, as my case is located a little ways away. And while it seemed to work fine initially, I soon found that after turning the monitor off and back on again, the mouse would stop working. Sometimes I could get it going again by pulling out the cord and putting it back into one of the front hub ports slowly, but usually I had to reboot. It was annoying enough that I went back to connecting the mouse to the matherboard directly. I haven't had much experience with other monitors with USB hubs, so I don't know if this is the same with all of them, but it doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to do something about it. While I can't give the monitor a perfect score because of this, I don't think it deserves to lose a whole star either. If I could, I would give it 4.5 out of 5, but 4 will have to do.

Excellent for watching DVD movies...

Strengths: awesome image quality, high refresh rates even in high resolution, USB ports

Weakness: occupies a lot of space

Excellent for watching DVD movies and work with lots of windows
