A new WoW?
Strengths: Soloing for most classes is relatively easy. Many quests to do and now a free expansion pack is being added. Monster play. Beautiful graphics-wise.
Weakness: At points, the game seems too easy. Weak economy. Traveling in the game takes forever and the devs like to make people travel.
This game appears to be based off of many aspects of the World of Warcraft - combat, crafting and the auction systems are almost the exact same. However, one notable difference is apparent in the game: the ability to solo without significant buffage, healing potions or food. Strengths: LOTR MMO, great graphics

An fan of LOTR or MMOs in general should like this game. It has the typical leveling up that you see in MMO, but the 'traits' system is interesting addition. LOTR fan? Give it a go.
Strengths: The game has beautiful landscapes, quests that immerse you in Tolkien lore, and good solo ability outside of the main questline.
Weakness: It's nearly impossible to progress the story without a group, and travel wastes time that could be better spent.
The game has a fun crafting system and pretty good tutorial for players that are new to MMORPGs. The classes were fun to play and diverse enough to keep me from feeling like I was playing the same one each time I started a new character. I enjoy soloing and was able to most of the time. Fun game
Strengths: Low monthly fee or no monthly fee if you choose their lifetime plan. Many FREE updates.

This is a fun game, at least for me anyways. I subscribed to their lifetime membership so that I don't have the monthly fees which make you feel like you must play every day to get your moneys worth. I've never read the Lord Of the Rings book, but have only seen the movie. The game tries to stay as close as possible to the lore of the books.
