Nice Motherboard, but price a bit steep...

Strengths: LCD readout; good design; easy installation; Q-connector a nice bonus

Weakness: Price has not gone down over past year, making this motherboard a bit more costly than some of its peers

Not a no-brainer of a purchase, since there are mo-bos out there that would perform almost as well for less coin, but this is still one of the best products out there for AMD users.

Solid Borad from Asus

Strengths: Stability, overclocking ability, LED board lighting

Weakness: CPU speed & RAM speed are linked together (i.e., unable to manually change the FSB/DDR ratio)

The board not only has been rock solid, it also sustained my overclocking and occasional mishaps in that regards.

I should also add that it is performing flawlessly with my ATI X1950 card. this used to be an issue with nForce based boards.

The board also comes with 6 Nvidia SATA2 ports (and 2 external SATA2 ports). the Nivida ports can be individually configured for RAID/non-RAID. Using these ports, I am running 2 different RAID-1 arrays and 1 single non-RAID SATA2 HDD.

overall, i am quite pleased with this board. something i could not say for the previous 3 boards i got from other manufacturers.

Slick motherboard

Strengths: Love the lighted back panel connections! This baby is LOADED with geek goodies. Super for OC'ers.

Weakness: Price seems a little steep until you consider what you getting.

If the back of your system is in the dark then the lighted back panel alone may be enough to sell you on this MB. You can even check the time while your back there. Plenty of SATA plugs w/raid. Super fast

Good price, great board!

Strengths: LCD posting, LED board lighting, overclocking ability.

Really good all around board with lot's of goodies! This board is truelly one of the few good all around boards with plenty of potential. Recommend it to anyone looking to build a new system on a budget.

I purchased it along with a 5000 + windsdor Socket AM2 AMD X2 / Geforce 7950 GT / 2 Kingston DDR2 EXtreme 1066 mhz (and even though this mother board says it doesnt support 1066 ram it works on mine just fine, runs it in 800 mhz mode.) I can play Medieval II with 7000 + units all graphics set to Highest available setting and still get 15 - 30 FPS, not even using 2 GT 7950's for dual SLI. Highly, Highly recommended.

Web pages open instantly, Downloads are insanely fast, Photo shop renders/Cubase music Renders are all insanely fast as well. I rendered a higly multiple sound bit poly phony (several instruments at the same time) 12 minute song in Cubase and FL studio pro 6 at 256 sinc depth (which is supposdly very high quality but VERY SLOW to render) and it only took my computer about 5 freaking minutes. Do you understand how fast this is. On my old computer that song took almost half an entire day to render. (12 hours).

Just make sure you lay your contacts correctly while installing the board so you dont fry it, cause that would be a crime against computer - ity.
